A Japanese puzzle creator
extraordinaire,
Nobuyuki (Nob) Yoshigahara, has published over 70
puzzle books in Japan, and created a huge variety of
puzzles manufactured and sold all over the World.
This tiny but quite powerful puzzle collection is the
only Nob's puzzle book translated in English and
published outside Japan.
It comprises a great range of puzzles--manipulative,
math, visual, and of some other types. For the book, Nob
has selected his favorite puzzles mostly created by
himself. Also, the book contains many puzzles by Nob's
friends, presented with the respective credits as small
tributes to their authors.
Nob's book proposes a well balanced blend of advanced
and simple puzzles so that the solver could be baffled
with them, but might enjoy them at the same time. With
this collection Nob emphasizes the importance of solving
(without a computer!!) puzzles of different difficulty
levels to give our "all too sluggish brains" a
stimulating and enjoyable workout.
If you get stuck, there is a separate section with
solutions.
