Serhiy Grabarchuk presents
a new puzzle collection
by Peter Grabarchuk: |
|
3 Xmas Trees |
|
Light the Xmas Star |
To light the Xmas Star (the blue coin) get it to the top
of the Xmas Tree as shown in diagram F, above. Solve the
puzzle in as few single moves of coins as possible. Note
that neither in position S, nor in position F the Star
touches other coins. You can move one coin at a time so
that in its new position the moved coin touches at least
two other coins from the unmoved group, except the case
when this coin (marked as @) makes a straight line
triad, like O@O.
|
Xmas Knights Dancing |
Performing just normal knight’s moves, exchange the
white and black knights as shown in diagram F, far left.
Try to do this in as few single leaps of knights as
possible.
|
The Hard Fir |
Move four matchsticks so that five triangles which are
similar (equal in shape, although not necessarily equal
in size) appear. You are not allowed to overlap or break
matchsticks.
Happy Puzzling and a Happy New Year! |
