Easy Flat Color Cube*

Put-Together Puzzles

by Peter Grabarchuk

This puzzle consists of eight one-sided tiles with images of 3D unit cubes showing three color faces each.

Now, using all the eight tiles, assemble them into a flat shape looking like a 2x2x2 cube. The grid showing such a "flat cube" is provided on the right so that you can place your tiles within it. Two different challenges are proposed.

Puzzle 1. Each of the three visible faces of the "flat 2x2x2 cube" must be colored in its own color.

Puzzle 2**. Each of the three visible faces of the "flat 2x2x2 cube" must be colored in two colors placed in a checkered manner.

Note that tiles can be overlapped in any way, but not flipped over or rotated. To move a tile, click and drag it. Use "Restart" to start the puzzle over again.
