An Origami square.

One hundred and nine 2x2 checkered
patterns.

This is another square version of the Origami
Checkerboard puzzle. It uses a traditional square
Origami sheet of paper colored just on one of its sides.
You have one hundred and nine 2x2 checkered patterns
formed with small isosceles triangles; these patterns
are shown in the diagrams in this page.*
Your challenge is to achieve every of them in the minimum of single "book" folds;
see a sample. The final shape every time is a
flat square; no matter
what pattern will be at its back.
Write
us about your minimal solutions to these patterns.
All the best results will be posted.

Even much more difficult challenges can be finding all the
3-unit-side checkered square patterns formed with small
isosceles triangles, and their
minimal solutions. |
